The seven sins made more than their usual appearance on Skidmore's campus this past weekend.
Cab Troupe's "The Seven Deadly Sins," an entirely student produced show, enthralled audiences on Saturday, Nov. 7 and Sunday, Nov. 8 in Filene Recital Hall.
Written by Rachelle Heger '12, Grady Gund '12 and Willa Mayo '12 this past summer, these three served as director, assistant director and choreographer respectively.
The production was made up of a variety of well-known show tunes, two or three devoted to each of the seven sins: lust, greed, gluttony, sloth, envy, wrath and pride.
Songs included such favorites as "Cell Block Tango" from "Chicago," "A Little Priest" from "Sweeney Todd" and "Be Prepared" from "The Lion King."
The variety of tunes kept spectators continuously looking forward to what the next number might offer. Actors and actresses were lively and seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. It was truly a sin to miss this performance!
