On Oct. 3, the Super Mash Bros. rocked the college community in the Intramural Gym. With over 700 tickets sold and 500 people in the gym at one time, the explosive mash-ups from Nick Fenmore and Dick Fink blew the minds of those lucky few able to gain admittance. Their mixes ranged from Imogen Heap over Chingy, to Kanye over Coldplay.

On Sept. 22, "Halo 3:ODST" was released. When I first heard about the game, I figured it was just going to be another halo game that Bungie, the game's developer, was trying to milk from the franchise.
Grunge was more of a fashion statement and promotional label than a bona fide rock genre. Sure, the bands that composed the "movement" typically hailed from the Pacific Northwest, wore flannel and shared a dirty guitar sound. And their lead singers sang angst-ridden songs dealing with such uplifting topics as death, broken homes and drug abuse. Nevertheless, in a musical sense the bands associated with the label found their inspiration from very different sources.
Why did you want to become a studio art major? Art is something I've always been good at. When we were younger, my brother was really good at piano, so I tried it but it wasn't for me. My sister played the French horn, and I tried singing but visual art is something I've always successful in, and it stuck.
