Alive, A Poem

I’m freeing my words for others and me

To read.

To hear.

To judge.

To see.

Freeing them from [the grasp]

of my thoughts.

They drift across continents through waters swarming with words.

Words jumbled, pieced together to create stories.

One story meets another and another to complete each other.

Words find other words until they are satisfied and ready to settle

Down.

It’s an unfinished, finished puzzle.

Across.

Living together in oceans, loose-leaf newsprints, and glossy papers ready

To Be Seen.

The fiery passion curses through the heart of words to embrace and live.

No longer trapped, no longer incomplete, no longer wandering.

My words are their own individual selves,

And

they are Free.
